Overview
CrystalClear MuckOut uses highly concentrated natural bacteria
and enzymes to reduce accumulated organic muck in ponds and
lakes. The easy-to-use tablets are ideal for treating problem
areas around beaches, docks, and shorelines.
MuckOut can also be distributed throughout an entire pond or
lake to reduce up to 2 inches of muck per month. When used as
directed, it is safe for fish, aquatic plants, pets, livestock,
birds, wildlife, and recreational ponds.

How to Apply CrystalClear MuckOut
MuckOut tablets can be used for targeted shoreline treatment or
distributed throughout an entire pond or lake. Even distribution
helps the beneficial bacteria reach accumulated organic muck.
For targeted beach or shoreline applications, 16 tablets
treat up to 2,000 square feet. Apply every two weeks when
water temperatures are above 50°F.
Measure the Treatment Area
For whole-pond treatment, multiply the pond’s length by its width and divide by 43,560 to estimate surface acres. For a beach or shoreline, multiply length by width to determine square feet.
Distribute the Tablets
Distribute the tablets evenly throughout the treatment area from the shoreline or a boat. Concentrate the tablets around beaches, docks, shorelines, and other areas with visible muck buildup.
Reapply Every 2 Weeks
Continue applying the recommended number of tablets every two weeks while water temperatures remain above 50°F. Consistent treatment provides the best muck-reduction results.

The 6-pound package contains 96 tablets and treats up to ¼ surface acre. The 24-pound package contains 384 tablets and treats up to 1 surface acre.
Important application timing:
Wait at least three days after applying an algaecide or herbicide before adding MuckOut. These treatments may interfere with the beneficial bacteria. Always follow the instructions on the product label.
